Frequently asked questions

Needle Creek Farm Brewery FAQ

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Sorry, no pups allowed. Since our chickens and mini pigs free-range, we only allow service dogs for their safety. We do have two friendly farm dogs on-site who love greeting visitors, but overall, our working farm setup isn’t dog-friendly.

Q: Can I host an event, wedding, or birthday at the farm?
A: Yes! The brewery is available for private rentals Monday through Wednesday when we’re closed to the public. During open hours, you can rent a space for casual gatherings of up to 30 people. We ask that you don’t reserve multiple tables or use tablecloths—seating is always first-come, first-served.

Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: Outside food is welcome. We just ask that you keep it picnic-style and consider supporting our rotating food trucks while you’re here.

Q: Are kids welcome?
A: Always. We’ve got Lil’ Creekers Corner, a Gaga pit, farm animals, and plenty of space to roam. Just remember—it’s a working farm, so supervision is key.

Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Nope. We keep it casual with first-come, first-served seating.

Q: Are you open year-round?
A: Yes! The taproom is open Thursday through Sunday utilizing our cozy barn and the outdoor beer garden throughout the seasons, and we’ve got fire pits and patio heaters to keep things toasty on cooler days.

Q: Do you make non-alcoholic beer or gluten-free options?
A: While we don’t brew non-alcoholic beer, we do offer small-batch sodas like house-made root beer and orange soda, plus other non-alcoholic and gluten-free drinks in the general store.

Q: Is the barley used to make your beer grown on the farm?
A: Yes! All of our beer is brewed on-site using barley grown right here on the farm—keeping it Jersey Fresh.

Q: Can I buy your beer elsewhere?
A: Right now, we’re keeping it local. You can find us at select community events. For details, check out our Facebook events page.

Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: Yes. We’re old school in vibe, but not in tech.

Q: Can I decorate or bring balloons for a party?
A: We love a good celebration, but no balloons or decorations, please. They don’t mix well with farm animals or the environment.

Q: Do you make the beer here?
A: Yes. Our beer is brewed in our restored 300-year-old dairy barn, using ingredients grown on the farm like our barley. Small-batch, local, and farm-fresh—just the way we like it.

Farm Etiquette & Animal Interactions

Q: Can we pet the cows?
A: Yes, with care. Farmer John feeds the cows every late afternoon, and kids are welcome to offer them a handful of hay and give them a gentle pat. Please only interact with the cows in the designated feeding area—do not reach across the electric fence.

Q: Can we pet the horses?

A:No. The Horses have personal owners and are not used to lots of visitors. You can look from afar but it is crucial that you do not pet or feed them for your safety and theirs.

Respect the animals.
We love our animals and their peaceful way of life. Please treat them with kindness and give them space—they’re part of the Needle Creek family.
